a couple months ago, i was checking my email and in my inbox was an email from W magazine.  i am subscribed to W because it is my all time favorite magazine.  it is a source of inspiration and art.  so even if it was junk mail, i pulled it up.  i read about a contest where readers submit their favorite current fashion trend and a photo of themselves wearing the trend.  ironically i had just uploaded a photo onto my facebook and twitter that afternoon of me wearing my fav fedora hat.  so i thought, why not?  (most of my crazy ideas start with this.)  seriously, i never thought another thing about it.  

last week i got a call from W.  when she said i was a finalist to a contest, in my mind i thought, "hehe aren't we all to these kind of calls."  then she went on telling my i submitted a photo.  i started to laugh as i remembered that, yes in fact i did.  well, i guess i was one of the 20 finalist.  my excitement happened when she told me the winner gets $1000 shopping spree and the hugo boss "it bag" for this year.  well, now i have to win, right!?!!!  

so has funny and silly as this all is, i am reaching out to you to vote for me.  you can vote once a day and the voting ends june 22nd.
